55th Annual Grammy Awards

Here at Cinderella’s Closet, we love Award Season almost as much as Prom season, which lucky for us they happen at the same time each year. The Glamour, the Style, the Diamonds, the Dresses! Sunday will be a great day to get inspired by the red carpet for your prom. 

Today we thought it would be fun to give one star a second chance so to speak. We took a look at Huffington Post ‘s Worst Dressed List from Grammys 2012 and redressed Fergie, who was the worst “Worst Dressed” in our opinion.

Fergie’s Orange Leopard Lace Disaster: 

We love orange for a big night out, especially for those dare to stand out girls like Fergie. We love lace for adding some mystery and a sexy glimpse of skin. We even love orange lace. But we draw the line at orange lace with a leopard looking underwear layer. It’s just too much…too much pattern, too much color, too much skin.

Our Pick for Fergie: Night Moves Style 6725

We love this sexy style from Night Moves. The lace mini with sheer black overskirt is both sexy and elegant. For petite girls (like Fergie who is just 5’3”) there are a couple reasons why a dress like this would be flattering. The asymmetrical details like one shoulder strap, diagonal pleated band at the waist, and long in the back skirt will all give the illusion of extra height.
