This weekend was the Kentucky Derby! It's one of my favorite fashion days of the year! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the
huge hats and classic style.
Even
Miss America 2013 was there in one of the very biggest hats! You can't get away from the pageant pose even at the Derby!

While I wouldn't suggest wearing a hat the size of Texas to prom...you should definitely consider your hair accessories!
For a classic Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's look, try and high bun with a small tiara.
You can also try a chic embellished headband to make short hair sassy like Michelle Williams, or to dress up a more simile updo!'
If you are looking for a soft romantic look, try a flower in your hair like Taylor Swift! You can do a a cluster of smaller flowers, some tucked in your updo or braid, or hippie chic with the band around the forehead!
Of course, not all looks require hair accessories. If you love your hair, or are accessorizing with big earrings, a statement necklace, or high embellished neckline, you can skip the accessories in your hair a la Zendaya!
